Real Talk: How Politics Impacts Us All
In partnership with the History and Political Science Department, Xceleader’s Vote HBCU program is excited to host “Real Talk: How Politics Impacts Us All,” a conversation moderated by N.C. A&T Professor and author of ‘Shelter in a Time of Storm’ Jelani Favors, Ph.D. The event will be taking place in Frye Hall Room 107 at 6 p.m. on March 19.
The conversation will highlight the pivotal role HBCUs have played in driving social change and the importance of civic engagement. Panelists will share their perspectives on how today’s students can actively contribute to continuing this legacy, emphasizing the idea that politics is personal, affects us all, and requires everyone to play an active role.
